Sudip Khadka, a native of Nepal, is the founder and president of Compassion for Asia. In 1989 after a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ, he dedicated his life to full-time ministry. Scott Ritzheimer has served on the board of Compassion for Asia since 2016. Scott is the CEO of StartCHURCH, a growing company that partners with churches, ministries, and missions organizations throughout the US to ensure that they are operating efficiently and effectively. Scott supports Compassion for Asia bringing strong leadership skills, administrative acumen, and understanding of systems and processes to the organization. Jim Mather has been involved in full time international ministry since 1992. Initially Jim and his family served in Northen Pakistan helping to establish the Gilgit Eye Hospital. After 5 years service in Pakistan, the Mather family moved to Mobile, Alabama to direct an international student ministry focused on the campus of the University of South Alabama. Along with international student ministry Friends of Internationals also works among refugees and other internationals living in the Mobile area. Jim developed a friendship with Sudip Khadka in 2002 while Sudip visited the FOI ministry in Mobile. After a number of short terms trips to Nepal to assist Compassion for Asia the relationship has deepened and Jim has now accepted the role as board of director at Compassion for Asia.
Randy Lawerence serves as the Lead Pastor of New Hope NRV. He has served the body of Christ in various leadership capacities and has been in full-time ministry for 22 years. He has a tremendous desire to reach all generations for Jesus Christ. Randy and Dawn have four children: Chase, Maia, Cali, and Jaxon. Randy holds a master’s degree in leadership and management from Liberty University.
In addition to serving as the Lead Pastors of New Hope NRV, Randy and Dawn are also the National Youth Directors for the PCG, which leads over half a million Churches worldwide.
